In the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Pakistan international Naseem Shah was spotted making fun of Azam Khan, when the latter was coming to the crease for batting. The incident happened during the match between Khulna Tigers and Comilla Victorians on January 31, where the left-handed seamer imitated Azam’s walking style in a way to body shame the stumper-batter.
Just before the incident, the 24-year-old was seen pushing Naseem Shah as he was in no mood for banter. However, the young pacer followed up with the imitation which made fans furious on Twitter. There were some who defended the young cricketer and tried to justify his actions, but others pointed out that there’s no explanation for body shaming.

Comilla Victorians defeated Khulna Tigers by seven wickets
The Imrul Kayes-led side defeated Khulna Tigers by seven wickets after a high-scoring game. Batting first, the Tigers posted 212 on board as Tamim Iqbal once again played a scintillating innings of 95 runs of 61 deliveries. Batting at number three, skipper Shai Hope too played a marvellous knock of 91* runs off 55 deliveries and courtesy of which, the Tigers posted a hefty total on board after the first innings.
Comilla Victorians, who have played some phenomenal cricket so far in the season, chased the total down with absolute ease. Pakistan international Mohammad Rizwan gave them a perfect start as the stumper-batter scored 73 off 39 deliveries. Johnson Charles later joined the party and scored a blistering ton, which eventually changed the complexion of the game. The 34-year-old scored 107 off 56 deliveries courtesy of which, he was adjudged Player of the Match.
With another win under their belt, Comilla Victorians have now moved third on the points table while Khulna Tigers are on the verge of getting eliminated. They are currently ranks sixth in the league, with only four points from nine games. Meanwhile, Twitter wasn't happy with Naseem Shah over his gesture towards Azam Khan, who also happens to be his country-mate in the sport.
