Twitter Reactions: England win at Manchester to keep the series alive: England secured a convincing 93 run victory at Old Trafford in Manchester to stay alive in the 5 match series. The Australians had no answers to England’s spinners and showed no signs of the will to fight it out after conceding a big total while fielding. Choosing to bat first after winning the toss they managed to get to 300 courtsey a fantastic maiden ODI century by James Taylor, who was well supported by Eoin Morgan. After being 205 – 2 at one moment England were looking good for more but tight bowling from the Aussies restricted them at the back end.
The Aussie chase never quite took off and Aaron Finch was the only batsman who showed some resistance scoring 53. After his departure none of the batsmen found an effective way to combat the spin duo of Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid who picked up three wickets each. After a 35 run stand for the last wicket the Aussie innings eventually folded for a paltry 207 handing the hosts a comeback win in the series.
Twitter was quick to react to the World’s champions capitulating in such manner against an English side which looked ordinary just days ago.

Winning the toss and batting first was pretty important but England bowled very cannily there.

Typical scrapper innings from Wade (42 off 41) ends as bowled by Finn. Aus all out 207, giving Eng a commanding 93-run win. #engvaus
