Twitter Reactions: India v South Africa 3rd ODI, SA take 2-1 lead: The 3rd ODI at Rajkot went off to a flying start amidst dark clouds surrounded by protests. Quinton de Kock smashed his first international century of 2015 and fourth in seven innings against India in searing heat to set South Africa up for a big score in Rajkot, but India’s spinners had other ideas. They wove their way into the South African line-up that was set for a score over 300 and restricted them to 270 for 7.

South Africa were 205-2 but failed to capitalize on the start as the visitors could score only 60 in the last 10 overs. In reply, India were lifted by inform Rohit Sharma’s 65. Duminy held on to a return catch to dismiss Sharma, as the score board read 113-2. MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli forged a partnership of 80 runs before the former batsman was caught by Steyn off Morkel for 47. Raina’s poor form continued, as he skied one off Tahir to Miller.

Virat Kohli’s gritty knock of 77 came to an end and Ajinkya Rahane was quick to follow him in the next ball. Harbhajan Singh played out the hat-trick ball, as South Africa’s closed in on a win. Both Morkel and Steyn aimed at the block holes, while the batsmen failed to find the gaps. India finished the quota of 50 overs by scoring 252-6, as South Africa won the match by 18 runs.
