In the final T20 game between the two teams, Pakistan delivered a clinical performance in both the departments. It was yet another one sided game as the Windies failed to display their WT20 mojo throughout the series.

Earlier in the day, Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss as Pakistan elected to field first. West Indies followed it up with another poor start. Imad Wasim who was introduced in the third over had Charles and Walton back to the pavilion in consecutive balls.

The wickets kept falling like a pack of cards until half of the team was back in the dugout. Samuels then stayed on the crease and played a test like innings of 42 runs from 59 balls. Pollard too at the other end couldn’t create any fireworks.

The Windies ended up at 103/5 in their quota of 20 overs. The Pakistan bowlers put up a splendid effort. Imad Wasim was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets in his kitty. Nawaz also got one wicket. Rest all other bowlers were also economical and applied the breaks into the visitors innings.

Pakistan batsmen had an easy task in hands. They had a good start before debutant Williams got out both the openers in an over. However, Malik and Babar played calmly and kept scoring runs at a brisk pace. The Windies bowlers failed to keep up with the moment as the target was way too low.

Pakistan achieved the target by the 16th over as they registered a whitewash against the WT20 champions. The visitors failed to show any fight or character in any of the games as they were let down by their batting most of the times.

Twitter wasn’t quite excited with the prospect of another one-sided T20 International. While many criticized the approach of the players, others felt it was due to absence of stalwarts like Gayle and Russell. The Pakistan fans were overjoyed with their team’s performance.
