Peshawar Zalmi locked horns with Islamabad United in Match 20 of PSL 2020 at Rawalpindi Stadium. The rain also intervened in the match due to which the game was stopped for some time during the innings of Zalmi’s.

It turned out to be a reasonable decision as to their bowler Rahat Ali dismissed the in-form opener Luke Ronchi on the fifth delivery of the over. The right-hander attempted a stroke for a boundary but he failed to get his timing due to which he was caught by Wahab Riaz.

Soon, Hasan Ali, the right-hand fast bowler dismissed Rizwan Hussain in the 4th over that left batting side struggling for a score of 41 runs with two wickets. Meanwhile, Colin Munro, the Kiwi international looked in full flow, who was effortlessly scoring boundaries and sixes off bowlers. Later on, Shadab Khan also joined the party as he looked in no mood to spare the opposition side. He along with Munro stitched a quick partnership of 67 runs and they successfully managed to rescue their side from the early setbacks.

Finally, after a span of six overs, Carlos Braithwaite sent dangerous-looking Munro back to the pavilion. But, that didn’t affect the momentum of the team as Colin Ingram, the new batsmen on the crease made the mockery of the bowlers on the back of his sublime hitting. He scored 42 runs off 25 balls studded with one boundary and two sixes.
