Indian swashbuckling opener Rohit Sharma is in the form of his life, as he is hitting the ball as easy as it can get. The final match of the ODI series promised to be a cracker of a contest and it is living to the hype. Kiwis got the first breakthrough in the face of southpaw Shikhar Dhawan, but since then it has been Rohit’s show. The two most dangerous top-order batsmen Rohit and skipper Virat Kohli is currently going slam-bang at the opposition, crossing the 100-run partnership milestone in style.

In the process Rohit also got passed 1000 international runs in ODI cricket in 2017, it has been that kind of a year for the Mumbai man. The stylish opener scored his 15th ODI century. Kane Williamson and his men are very much war of the outcome if they fail to get Sharma and Kohli early in the innings, as it won’t be easy to bat in the second innings chasing a big total under lights. Rohit also became the second fastest batsman in ODIs to hit 150 sixes. The explosive opener achieved the feat in 165 innings.

Rohit Sharma smashed all the New Zealand bowlers all around the park on his way to 15th One Day International century. From Mohammad Kaif, VVS Laxman to Indian pacer Mohammed Shami, all took to Twitter to react on Rohit Sharma’s century. Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently looking to post a huge score on the board.

Both the teams went unchanged into the final ODI and that meant India’s sensational spinner Kuldeep Yadav had to sit out. Interestingly, the chasing side has won the series so far. In Mumbai, the Kiwis won the contest by 6 wickets while in Pune India returned the favor.
