Twitter Reactions: Shami shines, WI fall in another rain marred day

The Day 4 of the second Test between India and West Indies again saw a delayed start due to the rains. Though the West Indies batsmen finally walked into bat in a postponed start.
However, opener Rajendra Chandrika was sent back soon as he got bowled by Ishant Sharma. This paved the way for India to apply press straightaway on the Caribbean batsmen. Just when it seemed Darren Bravo and Kraigg Brathwaite took the Windies out of trouble, Amit Mishra got Kraigg who found KL Rahul at mid wicket.
With Lunch 3 overs away, it seemed as if the Windies would survive. But once Mohammad Shami came, he continued his golden form since comeback by striking twice. First he bowled Marlon Samuels who went for a duck and then on the last ball before lunch, he got the important wicket of Darren Bravo who found Rahul at third slip.
The West Indies ended up at 48/4 in 15.5 overs as the umpires decided to take the lunch break putting India in the driver’s seat. However, rain again played spoilsport as the second and third sessions were called off. This surely puts up a shadow on Day 5 considering forecasts of possible storm.

Confirmed. Amit Mishra is a better batsman than Chandrika.#WIvIND

Another failure for Chandrika. His scores in Tests: 0, 0, 25, 0, 25, 37, 16, 31, 5 and 1. Average: 14. Ishant with the wicket #WIvIND

Windies lose 1st wicket of 2nd innings in 3rd over. Rain could stymie India. But this is Day 4 & Tests are still played over 5 remember…

Tropical storm isn't enough to save WI now. They need a tornado. #WivInd

How long before wickets fall in the rain delays#IndvsWI

I feel sad for West Indies cricket. No fight at all and their most experienced test batsman has a batting average of 33 #WIvInd

Wonderful to have Shami back in the team, a proper strike bowler. Thankfully the pace hasn't reduced because of injury.

Not only West Indies spectators, West Indies players also have no interest in Test Matches.#IndvsWI

Since 2013, this is only the 3rd instance out of 40 innings where India used a spinner ahead of Ravi Ashwin in Test Cricket. #WIvIND

Shami would have got more respect on the internet if he was making a comeback after a fixing ban and not after a year long injury layoff

Shivnarine Chanderpaul with a walking stick can still last longer at the crease than whole WI batting line up with a bat. #WivInd

West Indies cricket team is why West Bengal is removing "West" from it's name #WIvIND

West Indies players might not have shown enough fight in this Test but the ground staff put on 100% efforts. #WIvIND pic.twitter.com/hfMq942Gqd

It wasn't raining but they go for break and when they want to play it rains. Cricket, because everything else is too easy to understand.

This match deserves to go to the 5th day, post tea session, WI 9 down, Shami running in to bowl, rain running in, groundsmen running in…
— Gaurav Sethi (@BoredCricket) August 2, 2016
On current form WI batsmen may struggle to collectively come up with a single paper boat that can sail for 3 minutes in Sabina Lake #WIvInd
— cricBC (@cricBC) August 2, 2016
Rain saved the @westindies today. What about tomorrow? Maybe, Shiv Sena can dig up the pitch. #IndvsWI #WIvIND #Shami

I hope both Shami and Ishant are rested for either of the third or fourth test since this is gonna be a long season for them. #WIvIND
