Twitter Reactions: The Save CSK campaign: The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans have launched a new campaign the Save CSK campaign in Chennai in a bid to garner support for the IPL team which has been banned for 2 years by the Supreme Court of India appointed Justice Lodha Committee. The #SaveCSK is trending in twitter in India. The IPL spot fixing case was followed by many hearings, several names and one decision, exclusion of two most of the most loved teams Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for the coming two years. It’s hard to imagine a IPL season without the two big names. But the verdict has been given.
The fans of CSK have got a chance to prove their love by getting on the streets for the #SaveCSK campaign. The campaign is being organized by a group of die-hard CSK fans led by H. Saravanan who is one of the most prominent fans of the team. The campaign is taking place at the Pattabhiram gate of Chidambaram Stadium, and was expected to be active till 5pm. The aim of the campaign is the revoke the ban. The signature campaign is being launched in the venue, where the signatures that will be collected from the fans will be sent to the BCCI and the Supreme Court. The fans have turned out in large numbers including housewives. Social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter is helping in making it even bigger.
