Indian skipper Virat Kohli enjoys a great fandom all across the globe. With his mesmerising batting skill, he has managed to awe everyone. He is one of the most consistent players around and has already broken several records in such a short span of time. Furthermore, Virat Kohli has had a highly successful stint as the captain at the international level so far.

Quite obviously, it is a dream for any cricket fan to watch him live in action. People, sometimes, even travel miles for the same and enjoy the exploits of the 30-year-old. But on this occasion, a Pakistan cricket follower, who happens to be a huge fan of Virat Kohli came up with a special request. He took it to social media to convey his love for the Delhi cricketer and expressed his wish that he wanted to see Virat Kohli play cricket across the border.

We are hoping you come to Pakistan and play here also

There hasn’t been a lot of cricket played in Pakistan in the last decade. The attack of the Sri Lanka team in 2009 has had a bad impact and teams have expressed security concerns over touring Pakistan. However, things seem to be changing of late. Sri Lanka team visited Pakistan a couple of times to play the sport. Also, after a 10-year gap, an ODI series was played in Pakistan recently.

Furthermore, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has contributed in bringing cricket back to the country up to a certain extent. Amidst all these developments, the Pakistani fans are hopeful that more teams tour the nation and play cricket. This particular fan of Virat Kohli came up with a placard during one of the recent cricket games. He even wrote in his tweet that the Pakistani people love him.

“@imVkohli we are hoping you to come Pakistan and play cricket here also. We love you I am big fan of you. Lots of love and strength from  #PakVsSri #Lahore #Pakistan,” the user wrote alongside the picture. This tweet invited several reactions on Twitter. While some of them were positive, the others were negative.

Here is how the fans reacted:
