Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar was a skilled customer with the ball. His raw pace was never quite easy for the batsmen to handle. Following his stint as a cricketer Akhtar has switched to commentary but as we all know English isn’t his forte so he is a part of the Hindi commentary panel and enjoys voicing his views during live matches.
Recently Shoaib happened to meet Samina Baig the first Pakistani woman to climb the Mount Everest and decided to post about it. But the tweet that he posted read something very confusing as it contained a lot of mistakes and didn’t make a lot of sense either. He wrote – ‘Hounour of meeting the First Lady of Pakistan who concerned Mount Everest with her share will proud of you Samina ..like the whole country.’
This gave Twitterati a great chance to make fun of the cricketer who was always at the pointing end of jokes and trolls for his English. While most of the fans who saw that immediately replied to troll Shoaib a few even took the opportunity to make a sarcastic pinch and suggest the best way ahead. What this incident did is it united fans from both India and Pakistan who took turns and enjoyed every bit of it while making fun of the Rawalpindi Express’ English.

With the flood of replies, he realized the mistake soon and the tweet was removed from his Twitter timeline but by then most of them had already saved screen grabs and circulated them around.
The corrective measures were in place as well and he posted the same picture but this time the caption read- ‘In d inspiring company of Samina Baig,1st Pakistani woman 2 scale Everest. It wasn’t an expedition but a statement’
