Bangladesh and UAE will be hosting the U19 Asia Cup in 2018. The tournament commences from 29 September 2018 and will be played till 7 October 2018. There will be eight teams participating in the battle of the Asian teams. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Hong Kong, Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and UAE have a direct entry into the tournament.

Hong Kong and Nepal made it through based on their participation in the previous edition of the tournament. The title is held by Afghanistan currently after they won in Malaysia last year. The eight teams were divided into two groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will battle it out in the semifinals which will be followed by the final.

Six venues have been finalised for the tournament. While five of them are in Bangladesh, one is in the UAE where one semi-final and the final games will be played. A total of 15 one-day games will be played in the course of the tournament.
