Shaiman Anwar caught everyone’s eyeballs when he turned up for the United Arab Emirates in the 2015 ODI World Cup. He impressed one and all with his consistency and performance as he was a part of the leading run-scorers charts with 311 runs in just 6 innings which includes a century and two fifties.
He is back in the frame after moving to his career-best ranking of No.12 in the ICC T20I rankings for the batsmen. He is currently ahead of serval superstars of the Twenty20 format in the rankings table. This is a reflection of his performances since the Asia Cup T20 where he scored 43 out of his team’s total of 81 vs India and top scored vs Pakistan with a 46.
