Virat Kohli’s advise to Yuzvendra Chahal in the 1st ODI against the West Indies helped the leg spinner to scalp the wicket of the opposition skipper Kieron Pollard.

When Pollard came out to bat, Virat Kohli was heard telling Chahal, ‘ulta wala daal… bindaas daal,’ which means bowl the googly to Pollard.

Chahal did as he was told. Chahal bowled a perfect googly, the ball pitched outside off stump and came back in, Pollard went for the expansive drive, and the ball sneaked in through bat and pad and crashed onto his stumps. The Indian players were jubilant, and Kohli’s plan had worked.
