Indian express fast bowler, Umesh Yadav’s Nagpur residence was robbed on Monday and reports suggests that approximately Rs 45000 was stolen from his apartments. At the time of the incident, his family was not present inside the residence. Although Yadav’s family hasn’t lodged any FIR yet, the police were swift enough to arrest two suspects.

The phone belonged to Yadav’s mother while the cash was reportedly stolen from Tanya Wadhwa’s purse, according to reports from ANI. Yadav’s family had gone out at around 7 pm and returned around 3 am, only to be left shell-shocked by the incident. Police believe that there are others members involved with the suspects and have assigned a team of Ambazari police which has left for Madhya Pradesh.

More arrests to be made by the police

Yadav’s manager is expected to lodge a complaint at Ambazari police station on Tuesday as Yadav had to leave in the morning for Sri Lanka tour. The investigations are still in process for the case.”The suspects may have accessed Yadav’s apartment from the rear side. There is a space which can be used by the suspects to gain entry from the apartment below that of the Yadavs” said the police official according to Indian Express. The police sources said the workers involved in construction at the apartment below Yadav’s are the suspects.

Umesh Yadav is currently enjoying a well-earned vacation after being part of the Indian team in a gruelling season. Yadav was the pick of the bowlers in India’s grand home season of Test Cricket. The 29-year-old gathered a lot of praise for his agility on the field and his fitness. The Madhya Pradesh bowler was constant during all the 13 matches played. He followed it up by featuring in the IPL and later in the Champions Trophy. The Kolkata Knight Rider is now gearing up for the India’s Sri Lankan tour starting 26th July.
