Unseen photos from Jasprit Bumrah, Sanjana Ganesan's wedding ceremony

India star Jasprit Bumrah has set the internet on fire since announcing the news of his marriage to TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan. The reports of Bumrah’s wedding were doing the rounds since last month when he was released by Team India ahead of the fourth Test against England in Ahmedabad. While the BCCI and Bumrah did not reveal the reason behind his release, the fans and media were quick to find out the reason.

At first, the rumours linked the India pace spearhead with South Indian actress Anupama Parameswaran before the reports were quashed by the latter’s mother. But it did not take the internet long to find out that Bumrah was going to tie the knot with Sanjana although the love birds kept the entire thing under the wraps.

Bumrah finally ended all the speculation surrounding his wedding on Monday. He announced the news of his marriage to Sanjana on his social media profiles. Sanjana also updated the fans about the wedding through a post on her social media profiles.

The couple posted adorable pictures from their wedding with the caption: “‘Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.’ Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.”

Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan’s wedding was a private affair as less than two dozen guests were allowed for the event. The guests were reportedly asked not to carry their mobile phones for the ceremony as the couple wanted to keep the affair a secret. But with the wedding ceremony completed, the photos from the events have started surfacing on the internet.

For the wedding, Bumrah and Sanjana chose color-coordinated outfits by celebrity designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Bumrah wore a pale pink embroidered raw silk sherwani, paired with a tussar-georgette shawl and a violet neck piece while Sanjana wore a floral bridal lehenga done in peach colour.  She looked every inch of perfect in little heavy jewelry that complemented her attire. The best moments of their big day were captured by famed photographer Joseph Radhik while the fairytale decor was set up by Devika Narain and company.
