'Very hard to describe it in words' - Anupam Kher expresses his sadness over Sushant Singh Rajput's death

The news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has served as a shock for the entire country. The actor who played the role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his biopic was found dead by police on Sunday afternoon. It was revealed by the police that he had committed suicide.

After the news of his death arrived, many cricketers and celebrities took to Twitter to express sorrow. Veteran actor, Anupam Kher, who played the role of MS Dhoni’s father, Pan Singh Dhoni, in the 2016 biopic movie, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ also expressed his sadness upon hearing this news.

The actor had initially tweeted in complete shock. The actor wrote on Twitter asking Sushant Singh Rajput, “why my lovely Sushant Singh Rajput? why exactly?”

Anupam Kher urges people to spread love

After the actor uploaded an IGTV video on his official Instagram handle. He captioned that video by writing, “Very difficult to describe #SushantSinghRajput’s death in words!! And yet this probably is one of my longest IGTV videos. It will take me a long time to understand the magnitude of sadness it must have caused everybody in these times. But please spread love. Everybody needs it. #OmShanti”

In the video, the actor talked about their relationship while being on the sets of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. The movie had done exponentially really well at the box office. It earned more than INR 200 crores at the time of its release in 2016. Sushant had won many accolades for his performance in that movie.

Through video which was about 5 mins and 53 seconds, Kher tried to talk about how people should look after each other and take care of each other. He also urged his fans to spread love and also promoted the idea of people talking about their mental health properly with their close ones.

According to the co-producer of the movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Arun Pandey, there were talks about having a sequel to that movie. The movie depicts the storyline until the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Sushant Singh Rajput was expected to reprise his role again, but that won’t be happening. This co-producer has suggested that the movie might be shelved off.
