Virat Kohli adds Rs 2.97 cr Audi R8 LMX, to his collection: India’s test captain and skipper of the Royal Challengers’ Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Virat Kohli, who has always had this love for super car’s now also owns an Audi R8 LMX  priced Rs. 2.97Cr the limited edition super sports-car. The company has declared to sell only 100 units of this luxury car one of which has been grabbed by Kohli. Since four cars were available for sale in India and two of them have already been sold, only two remain for general sale.

Audi India spokesperson told the media that, “Two units of the R8 LMX have been sold already in India with cricketer Virat Kohli being one,”

Audi had launched this limited edition R8 LMX in January this year and is termed to be the most powerful and fastest non-track car in India.

Joe King the Head of Audi India, who also handed over the keys of the car to Virat Kohli said: “Audi has always been a brand for ‘Young Achievers’ who have made it big and want to celebrate their achievement and their individuality. Audi R8 LMX is a perfect choice for Virat…”

The cricketer too sounded excited on adding the Audi sports-car to his garage, Kohli said: “I am delighted with my new limited edition super sports car Audi R8 LMX. I am especially proud and excited to be one of only 99 owners of this special car. I have always loved automobiles and have been an admirer of Audi,”
