Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s daughter Vamika turned six-month-old on Sunday (July 11) and her parents celebrated the occasion in the cutest way possible. Instead of arranging a gala party starring celebrities, the love birds took their little princess to a picnic. Anushka shared pictures of the same on her Instagram page and the adorable clicks are winning hearts over the internet.

For the unversed, Kohli and Anushka were blessed with their first child on January 11 earlier this year. The former had even taken a paternity leave from India’s important tour of Australia to attend the birth of his daughter. Although the couple has shared several pictures of their daughter on social media, Vamika’s face is visible in none. They have also requested the paparazzi to respect their privacy by not clicking their daughter’s snaps.

Vamika certainly means a lot to the power couple and that is evident in Anushka’s latest post. Showering love on the little girl, the NH10 actress shared some snaps from the picnic. One of the pictures also shows the Indian cricket team captain playing with Vamika.

“Her one smile can change our whole world around! I hope we can both live up to the love with which you look at us, little one. Happy 6 months to us three,” read the caption.

Needless to mention, the pictures went viral in no time as fans showered love and blessings on the family. Several prominent names including Sonam Kapoor, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sania Mirza also reacted with red hearts in the comment section.

Meanwhile, Kohli and his family are currently in England as Team India is due to play the Three Lions in a five-match Test series, starting from August 4. In order to avoid fatigue and mental exhaustion, the players have been allowed to leave the bio-secure bubble for a while, and Kohli made brilliant use of the opportunity.

Meanwhile, the Indian skipper was last seen in the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand last month. India did put up a commendable fight in the contest but the Kiwis eventually walked away with an eight-wicket win. Kohli would have been gutted with the loss and it would be interesting to see how he performs against Joe Root’s men.
