Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma go grocery shopping, Twitter comes up with hilarious memes

After a long season which ended in the Carribean, Indian captain Virat Kohli decided to take a detour to New York in the time in hand ahead of the next series against Sri Lanka starting July 26th. However, he is not alone on this trip and girlfriend Anushka Sharma is accompanying him. The couple signalled their arrival in New York with a photo on Instagram which went viral.

The duo have been up and about in New York being spotted and photographed at various locations. However, they wouldn’t have imagined one of the pictures would become a source of memes on social media. They were spotted at a grocery store where Virat looked not-so-happy.

The photo has gone viral on Twitter with some hilarious memes being chiselled out by the Twitterati. Though Virat’s reaction is not clearly visible in the picture since it is facing his back, that hasn’t stopped the people on Twitter from taking some hilarious digs on the entire scenario.

It’s something when a mere act of grocery shopping draws so much attention from people – because they are Virat and Anushka or like the fans call them ‘Virushka’. There can be many interpretations for this but at the end of the day, it may is just a picture taken at the wrong time and certainly without their knowledge while they shopping at a grocery store.
