The connection between Bollywood and the cricketing world has been an interesting one.

From Viv Richards to Yuvraj Singh and even Harbhajan Singh, over the years, we have seen many cricketers get involved with the beautiful divas of the Bollywood and Virat Kohli is of course, the latest one, who is headlining the news these days for his relationship with Anushka Sharma.

The dashing star from Delhi has been lighting the world on fire with his bat. Centuries after centuries have only been a norm for the 27-year-old who is enjoying a dream time on the cricket pitch.

Although, currently off the pitch, enjoying a mini break from the packed International schedule, Virat and Anushka were spotted together at an ISL game between FC Goa and Delhi Dynamos FC at Fatorda Stadium in Goa on 30th October 2011.

The co-owner of the Goa franchise, Kohli is a self confessed Football fan and the superstar player decided to visit his first game this season on Deepawali with his “more than a good friend” Anushka Sharma.

The duo who were heavily featured in news recently for their alleged breakup seems to have reconciled their differences with Anushka opening up about the matter to India Today during her movie promotion:

“I am very practical as a person. I don’t fall in love blindly or at first sight.”

Whatever you make of that statement, it was certainly a big news when the duo made their relationship public in 2014 with Anushka even traveling with the Indian Skipper to the foreign tours of New Zealand, England and Australia.

As Virat’s form took a toll, their relationship hit rock bottom with Anushka reportedly deciding to “break up” with the Indian star after generating a lot of unwanted controversies.

However, the past seems to be water under the bridge now as the Bollywood diva, dressed up in a traditional attire, decided to accompany the Indian Skipper, who donned up a Goa FC t-shirt at the Fatorda stadium yesterday.

While, not as flashy as blowing up kisses after scoring a century, a public appearance like this could only mean one thing, right?
