Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma wedding was planned long ago

The fans of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma received the surprise of their life when the power couple tied the knot in Milan, Italy recently. Albeit there were rumors about the two getting married for quite some time, there was no certainty about the same. Moreover, both Virat and Anushka continuously denied any reports of getting married. It was a tweet from Filmfare that first confirmed the wedding.

Soon, both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma took to social media to announce the same too. While many might feel that everything was done in a hurry, the actual truth is something else. As per the reports in the laughingcolors, the wedding plans of Virat and Anushka had started a year ago itself. The couple were keen on taking their relationship to the next level.

The families of Kohli and Sharma met in Sri Lanka last year. It was around the same time when pictures of Anushka and Virat gardening went viral. The wedding planners Shaadi Squad confirmed the same and noted that they had to keep things secret from their own friends and team members too.

“Four months of keeping a secret, hiding even from our own team, the secret recces, midnight meetings, vague conversations, and sleepless nights have finally manifested into this grand moment. Thank you Anushka and Virat for making us a part of your family and trusting us to pull off something of this magnitude. You believed in us, even on those sleepless nights that we did not,” they said.

Anushka’s dream wedding

In addition to that, the fact is very clear that the couple wanted to keep their wedding a private affair. Three years ago, when Anushka was the cover lady for Harper’s Bazaar Bride, she had noted that her dream wedding would be a small affair. Moreover, it would be at a beautiful location like the wineyards or something of that sort.
