The Indian team is currently enjoying some much needed free time between the two Test matches after winning the game at Trent Bridge. Most of the cricketers are spending valuable time with their wives and are once again in London, the city where they’ve loved to stay ever since stepping down in the United Kingdom. However, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma came across a new friend on Friday and loved clicking photos with him.

It seems that in one of the stores in London, Virat and Anushka met an adorable dog and couldn’t resist themselves from spending some time with it. Both of them love pets around them thanks to their frequent social media updates and they even have a puppy in their own home.

Virat Kohli was chuffed to meet the dog and posted the picture clicked with it on his official Twitter handle. Looking at the picture, it could be clearly said that both, the Indian captain and his wife, were extremely happy and smiling after meeting the dog. “Met this beautiful boy who was patient enough to take a picture with us,” Kohli captioned the picture with this message.

Kohli’s form with the bat

Virat Kohli remains calm when not on the field which is probably the main reason for his success. In the ongoing Test series, he has amassed 440 runs in six innings and is way ahead when compared to the other batsmen. He has scored two centuries so far and missed one by just three runs in the first innings at Trent Bridge. He has led from the front and has also become the number 1 Test batsman in the latest ICC rankings.

The fourth Test between India and England will commence on August 30 and Kohli will be keen to level the series and take it to the decider which will be played at the Kennington Oval in London.
