Indian Captain Virat Kohli and girlfriend Anushka Sharma were recently going green in Sri Lanka ahead of India’s First ODI against the hosts in Dambulla. ‘Virushka’ was spotted last in New York after India’s tour to West Indies about a month ago.
Due to the grueling schedule of Indian cricketers constantly making them on the move, they do not get to spend time with wives and girlfriend. Umesh Yadav, Mohammad Shami, and many others’ better halves have joined their beau on the Sri Lankan tour.
The pictures which viral on various Virat Kohli fan pages along with Anushka came after the disturbing video he shared yesterday which professed the essence of sparing the rod and saving the child. Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and many others posted the same video in support of his captain.
Indians have won the Test Series and will embark their five match ODI series today at Dambulla. India last played an ODI in West Indies in a series which they won by 3-1. Since then Indian cricketers enjoyed a bit of break before taking on Sri Lanka in the whites. Which means that the ODI specialists take guard today with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni in action.
India lost to Sri Lanka in the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy. Sri Lankans were clear underdogs in the competition while India were favorites to win against the Lankans after an easy win against Pakistan. However, the bowling line up had no answer to Dhanushka Gunathilaka and Kusal Mendis. They set the platform for the likes of Matthews and Gunaratne to finish the match.
