Virat Kohli arrives at Dharamsala after happy day at home

Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli is having a great time. The dazzling batsman took a day off from duty to be at home. Kohli led India to a convincing whitewash win over New Zealand. After having played non-stop cricket, the off day was a much deserved one. Under his leadership, India won the Test series in the Caribbean and now a home series win against the Kiwis. Before resuming duties for India in the ODI series, Kohli drove home to be with his family.
As admitted by Virat Kohli himself, he loves the prospect of having home cooked food. He took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express his happiness. He tweeted, “Happiness is spending the extra day at home & eating home food. On my way home for a night. Thank you for the wishes & love everyone.” India rose to the top of the ICC Test rankings with the recent series win. Kohli was handed the ICC Test mace for regaining the top spot.

A little while later, Kohli posted another picture on Twitter. This time, the picture was with his pet dog. Kohli could be seen relaxing at home in the picture. Rightly so, the aggressive man on the field deserves his moment of peace at home. He tweeted, “Love being lazy at home with this naughty little dynamite. Unconditional Love.”

However, the holiday ended in a couple of days. India are scheduled to start their ODI series against New Zealand on 16 October. The venue for the match is the iconis stadium at Dharamsala. Virat Kohli was absolutely delighted at being back to the venue. He posted, “Off to the airport to leave for Dharamshala. Beautiful sunny day today.” He further exclaimed how beautiful the venue at Dharamsala is in another tweet. “Love coming here always. Being close to the nature is so peaceful,” read his tweet.
