MB9-Electric-728x90Virat Kohli and his love towards food have been no secret. But he always maintains his diet and tries to stay as fit; we have so often seen posts of him working out really hard in the gym.

Kohli was snapped with a huge table set ahead of him with Mughlai delicacies. It looked like it was one of those cheat diet days for him and he posted the picture on his facebook with a caption ‘dinner is served!’.

The Indian Test skipper’s breakfast, lunch and dinner is what most of us have. He like everyone loves home cooked food and no matter where he goes, he makes it a point to taste new dishes. But despite that, he always avoids junk food, which has more saturated fats.

The important part of his diet is that he drinks a lot of mineral water. He says that he drinks a lot of water to avoid minor or moderate diseases or illnesses.

Throwing more light into his fitness regime the RCB fitness coach Shanker Basu had said that Virat is the best athlete in the world. “Virat has decided to become the best athlete in the world and sky is the limit. There a lot of role models ahead of him in terms of sheer athletic abilities and he will never shy away from competition. He will grab it with both hands,” Basu said.

Here is a video of one of Virat’s work out sessions:

Virat Kohli is not a part of the Indian team touring Zimbabwe, as the Test skipper along with some senior cricketers is rested ahead of the Test series against West Indies. The 27-year old is making full use of this break, is hitting the gym regularly to make sure that he is well set to take on the long Test season coming up.
