Virat Kohli congratulates Ravindra Jadeja on becoming a father

While India’s Champions Trophy fate may still be hanging ahead of a virtual quarter-final against South Africa, the team is celebrating nevertheless. The reason being the addition of a new member to the family of star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja a couple of days ago. Fans were all excited and congratulated Jaddu on social media.

But as it appears not just the fans but also captain Virat Kohli is also very happy about the star all-rounder’s promotion as father. The 28-year-old Indian captain took to Twitter to wish Jadeja on the new and beautiful journey of fatherhood. “Congratulations Jaddu on the new journey of fatherhood, lots of love to the little angel @imjadeja,” Kohli tweeted

Jadeja and wife his got married in April last year. As per reports, the two were introduced to each other over WhatsApp and that is how their love story began. They say that behind every successful man, there is a woman. After marriage, Jadeja’s wife earned him a berth in the ICC World T20 and Asia Cup squad.

Cricket before family 

In a video posted on Star Sports’ Jadeja had said before the tournament: “I had to leave my pregnant wife behind. Family matters a lot to me, but it was also necessary to be part of the team with an important match coming up against Pakistan. Since the family is there to take care of her even they felt that I should play as that’s more important and I decided to do the same.”

The cricketer from Gujarat’s Jamnagar set a good example by putting national duty before personal life as he went to England only days before his wife’s expected delivery. We are sure he cannot wait to get home and meet his angel, but not without the trophy retained.
