Indian skipper Virat Kohli has reached a new career milestone but this time it is not cricket. The charismatic cricketer went past Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to ace the list of most followed celebrity on Facebook.

The right-handed batsman already had a hefty fan base because of his irresistible genius with the bat. Besides his talents as a cricketer, the Delhi-born star has been blessed with good looks and a classy sense of fashion. As Kohli continues to be a dominant force in world cricket he is also making it big in the world of advertisements.

Kohli, who is currently dating Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma, is now the most popular Indian celebrity on Facebook with over 35 millions fans. The aggressive cricketer left behind Salman Khan who is arguably one of the most influential personalities in the country, by more than 6,00,000 followers. Kohli also became the most ‘liked’ personality on social media platform ‘Instagram’ which completely portray the amount of fame the batsman has achieved with his contributions to the nation.

B-town actresses Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra acquires the 3^rd and the 4^th spot respectively while legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar sits at the 6^th position with a little above 28 million fans.
