They trolled Virat of not winning an IPL trophy, despite playing in the IPL from 2008. Notably, Virat’s team have not won a single title in IPL. They have 3 finals in 12 seasons but never won a trophy. Under the star batsman’s captaincy, India lost the World Cup semifinal last year and the captain had to face a lot of criticism.

Skipper Virat Kohli’s quest to finally find the gold
Royal Challengers Bangalore is still looking for their first IPL title. The Bangalore franchise has finished at 6th, 8th and 6th positions in the last three years. Kohli has captained the side since 2013 and has formed arguably the most powerful middle order in the tournament with AB de Villiers. However, even after having a dominant batting line up, RCB has always struggled due to the weak bowling attack.
This year the team is looking as good as ever. It seems like they have finally found the balance they were looking for. The addition of Chris Morris and Dale Steyn with the presence of Yuzvendra Chahal looks quite an explosive artillery. If RCB can plan out well and find their ideal combination, this could be the year for them.
