India found themselves in trouble in their opening ODI against Australia at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Chasing 237, the Men in Blue were reduced to 99/4, however, MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav came to the party and took the hosts to victory by six wickets with 10 balls to spare. India’s bowlers also impressed, including right-arm speedster Mohammed Shami.

The pacer picked up the prized scalp of Glenn Maxwell and the debutant Ashton Turner. He was excellent in his first spell and never allowed the batsmen to get the better of him. He hit the right channels and put a lid on the run-scoring. After the triumph, India are next scheduled to play the second ODI in Nagpur and it’s a chance for India to maintain their dominance.
