The successful completion of the World XI tour marked a gigantic day in Pakistan cricket history. The emphatic 3-day carnival put an end to the international drought the country has been facing since the horror surrounding the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009. Heavyweights from all over the globe took part in the series which saw Pakistan emerge victoriously by 2 games to 1.

However, the only two countries who kept themselves away from the T20 series were India and Zimbabwe. Considering the fact that India is one of the biggest powerhouses in the cricketing universe, it was certainly a loss for the organizers of the event. There is no doubt over the fact that the participation of superstars like Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma would have increased the TRPs of all TV channels.

Out of the many cricketers who were missed at Lahore, Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni were the most prominent names. The achievements of these two behemoths have been immense and they have a staggering fan base not only in India but all over the world. We got an example of the same at the jam-packed Gaddafi when placards reading ‘Virat Kohli &MS Dhoni, we miss you’ were waved at the stadium. The Pakistani fans urged these two gentlemen to come over to Pakistan and give them the treat they want.
Not only the fans but a similar incident took place recently when Durban Qalandars owner Fawad Rana expressed his desire to acquire the services of Virat Kohli for his franchise. The businessman mentioned that he would love to rope in the world-class batsman if the BCCI gives a green signal.
Look not every Pakistani hates you Team #India ? We love you @imVkohli & @msdhoni from Pakistan. Please come play in your neighbor.#WorldXI pic.twitter.com/7CE9mhJYTw
