Virat Kohli, the Indian batsmen leads Royal Challengers Bangalore from the front in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, he is still due to make his team win their maiden IPL trophy. Recently, Kevin Pietersen, the former England skipper, in a live session with the Indian skipper, questioned him over the same.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the three teams that has not won a single IPL trophy since the initiation of the tournament. Every season, they come out as one of the main contenders to win the league. However, they have failed to live up to the expectations of their fans on all occasions.

Recently, Kohli opened up over the same in a live Instagram session with Kevin Pietersen. He said that having big players in their side keep them in focus. This is a constant fact linked with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He also added that they reached three finals in 12 seasons but failed to win the finals on all occasions. However, these facts are irrelevant until they win the tournament. According to Kohli, they seriously deserve to win the IPL.

“When you have the biggest players who have played for rob there is going to be a lot of attention on the team. We are always going to be more in focus. We have reached 3 finals but haven’t won a single one. Have reached 3 semis but those things are irrelevant till the time we don’t win the title. We have talked about it as well. We actually deserve to win an IPL title, to be honest,” Kohli said in the live session with Kevin Pietersen.

Pietersen also questioned Kohli about his most fun innings in IPL. The RCB skipper replied saying that his knock of 113 runs against Kings XI Punjab was the knock where he was at his best. He felt that the ball was coming onto his bat quite nicely against the Punjab franchise in that game. Moreover, he had never got that feeling before while batting.

“Against Kings XI in the IPL, I think it was a 13 or 15 over game and I got 113. That was one of the days I felt like I was connecting everything, I’ve never felt that way ever,” Kohli added.
