Indian captain Virat Kohli, and his wife Anushka Sharma preferred to keep their love life a secret for most of their courtship period. It was only on Valentines Day 2017 when the skipper had publicly posted a romantic message for the Bollywood actor and officiated their relationship. The two tied the knot in Italy in December last year, and since then, there is no stopping their outpour of love for each other on social media.

Anushka’s scary look in the movie caused nightmare

This time around, the 29-year-old took to Twitter to express his pride on Anushka’s performance in her latest movie Pari. For starters, the movie is a supernatural horror film directed by newcomer Prosit Roy and it is also Anushka’s third production venture for her own company Clean State Films.  Anushka’s scary avatar in the film with scars and blood over her face spread nightmare among watchers and the trailer created a lot of buzz for the same.

After the movie’s promos were out, Kohli had tweeted that he couldn’t wait to watch the movie and Anushka in an avatar never seen before. “Can’t wait to watch my one and only in an avatar never seen before and I’m blown away already Can’t wait for @anushkasharma @official films #PariTrailer,” he had written.

After the movie’s release, the batsman expressed his awe of Anushka’s performance and admitted that her avatar scared her too. “Watched Pari last night, has to be my Wife’s best work ever! One of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Got quite scared but so very proud of you @AnushkaSharma”

As for Kohli on the field, he returned from South Africa last week, after leading India to T20I and ODI series wins, also the first bilateral series win for India in the rainbow nation.
