The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has revealed the best football player in the team ahead of the Celebrity Classico game on Sunday. The 28-year-old is all set to lead All Heart FC which includes the likes of MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Kedar Jadhav amongst other. On the other hand, All Stars FC will be led by the Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan. The encounter will be played on October 15 at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.
Virat Kohli always plays every game with full intensity and loves to win it whether it may be cricket or football. In 2016 too, these two teams had faced off against each other and played out a thriller to end the game with a 2-2 draw. All Heart FC scored an equaliser in the dying stages of the game. But this time around the skipper would love to dominate the match as he often does in cricket. He has already challenged his opponents by mentioning that stamina is required in football more than style.
My Fifa rating should be 98
The official Twitter handle of Star Sports Football posted a video of Virat Kohli involved in a candid chat with the hots Jatin Sapru in which he revealed the best footballer of the team and other strategies for the game. “Mohammad Shami was pretty good at goalkeeping when we played football with the team last time. But I am not sure who is going to take up the gloves this time around,” he said.
Further, he said that his Fifa rating would have been 98 had he played the game as a profession. “Someone asked me what would be Fifa rating, I said 98. Not below that at all. I am good at shooting, my right foot is good, my left foot is good. As a footballer, I think I am a complete player. In my head I am Ronaldo,” he continued. However, he also revealed that Manish Pandey is the best player in the team as far as football is concerned. He also said that he would play as a left winger and MS Dhoni as a right winger during the game on Sunday.
“I feel that best part of my game is sprinting and passing the bowl accurately to the guys who score goals. MS (Dhoni) I think would be right winger because his pretty quick as well or may be he can be centre-forward as well. His positioning is very well and he reads passes very well. Manish (Pandey) is the best footballer in the team. He is playing in the midfield position,” the 28-year-old concluded with a smile on his face.
