Virat Kohli has a special wish for the birthday boy Rohit Sharma

The Hitman of the Indian team Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 31st birthday on Monday as the wishes are pouring in for him from all the corners of the cricketing world. His wife Ritika Sajdeh was the first one to take to social media an wish her husband cricketer after cutting the cake overnight. Rohit is currently with Mumbai Indians (MI) squad as the team is preparing for their next game against RCB in Bangalore. However, Rohit’s India skipper Virat Kohli has spared some time to send him special wishes on his birthday.

There is a special bond between Rohit and Virat on the field as they keep on running each other out in the One-Day Internationals. Both have been involved in the run-outs as many as 7 times with the skipper of the Men in Blue at the receiving end most of the times. Though every time his partner has filled in for him by scoring double-centuries. Rohit has three scores of 200 or more and he has scored a couple of those after running out Kohli which is absolutely hilarious as even both of them joke about the same.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are great friends off the field as well and when they get together, they have so much fun which is evident thanks to social media. Now both of them are all set to lead their respective teams on Tuesday against each other at the same ground where the birthday boy slammed his first ever double century in the limited overs format. He took to Twitter to wish his teammate and wished for his well being in the upcoming year. “Happy Birthday @ImRo45 God bless!” he tweeted in his wish for the vice-captain of India.

Now it remains to be seen who wins the battle on the field as two of the best friends stack against each other at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
