Virat Kohli voted as the most desirable man in India, calls Anuskha the most desirable woman: Indian Test captain Virat Kohli was voted as India’s most desirable man of 2014. In a polling conducted by the Times of India, Kohli has got the maximum number of votes among the 20.3 lakh votes received online. Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Pakistani born actor Fawad Khan finish second and third in the list.

Apart from Kohli, two other cricketers made it to the top 50. Indian skipper MS Dhoni is in the tenth position while Suresh Raina occupies the 29th spot. Virat Kohli spoke on various things after he was voted as the most desirable man in which he called his girlfriend Anuskha Sharma as the most desirable woman.

Here are some excerpts from his interview with Times of India:

What makes you the most desirable man in India?
May be because I am straight forward and don’t manipulate things and don’t hide the truth.

Most desirable woman in the world and why?

For me, my girlfriend Anushka Sharma is the most desirable woman in the world. She is a lovely and simple person and she is as honest as well just like I am. And that is what I love about her the most. That is my biggest attraction towards her.

Rate the following in descending order of the qualities that make you most desirable -love for your mother, respecting your relationship with Anushka, sexy stubble, the boy next door image, rebellious nature
1) Love for my mother
2) Respecting my relationship with Anushka
3) Rebellious nature
4) Boy next door image
5) Sexy stubble

What makes you love your mother so much?
I lost my father in 2006 when I had just started playing first class cricket, but was not a part of the Indian cricket team. I have an elder brother and sister and my mother while she is conventional, she is mentally the strongest woman I have seen. After my father, she has held the family together and is like a rock of the family . I have seen her seeing and handling tough times with great composure and that is why I love and respect her so much.
