Virender Sehwag corrects his mistake on Twitter while praising a Dhaka University graduate

Virender Sehwag was all about hand-eye coordination while batting during his illustrious career. His aggressive batting used to send shivers down the spine of the bowlers and was also a happy-go-lucky cricketer on and off the field. Ever since Sehwag has hung his boots, he has kept himself connected to the fans through social media. While he is known for his witty tweets, the former Indian cricketer doesn’t miss out on sharing some valuable information as well.

On Friday, Sehwag took to his official Twitter handle to praise Hisamuddin Khan who completed his graduation as an accountant in Accountancy and Information Systems from Dhaka University. Being a son of a farmer, Hisamuddin never let down his parents and fought through all the obstacles to come out on top eventually and Sehwag posted the picture of the son driving his parents in the rickshaw which the cricketer loved.

However, while writing his post, he made the mistake in the first place conveying to his followers that Hisamuddin is an engineer and he is the son of a rickshaw puller. But Sehwag was quick to correct his mistake and didn’t forget to praise the achievement from Bangladesh’s talented student.

Entertaining Sehwag off the field

Virender Sehwag believed in enjoying his life be it on the field or off the field. He loved batting during his career and used to sing songs while pummeling the opposition bowlers. Even after his retirement, he has managed to keep his followers engaged thanks to the social media. A few months ago, Viru garnered more fans as a Hindi commentator.

He was also in the news recently for his tweet on Pakistan getting knocked out of the Asia Cup after losing to Bangladesh in a must-win game. However, he was also quick to praise Bangladesh later for their stunning performance who also won his heart for a spirited fight in the final which went down the wire until the last ball.
