Former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag is continuing with his routine of wishing most of the cricketers on their birthday. It was the turn of the Australian cricketer George Bailey yesterday (September 7) as he turned 34.
Bailey is known to be the one who always has a smile on his face regardless of the match situation he is always spotted smiling. Sehwag pointed this out while wishing his former IPL teammate on his birthday.
“Happy Birthday Cricket ke Hansmukh Lal, George Bailey. Instead of smiley emoji, u can pick up any of his photos & use it,” Sehwag wrote on the microblogging site Twitter.

Sehwag and Bailey had played together for the franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The year 2014 and 2015 were the best seasons for the Aussie in the league. He has an aggregate of 663 runs in his IPL career thus far.

Bailey is currently touring Sri Lanka as Australia is almost at the end of a long tour. The Aussies were whitewashed by the hosts in the Test series, but they bounced back in the One Day International (ODI) series to clinch it 4-1.
Bailey was the highest run-getter in the 50 overs series. Australia has already won the first match of the 2-match T20I series and the second match will commence on Friday at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
Most recently Sehwag had Tweeted about Yuvraj Singh’s YWC Fashion launch and how Yuvi didn’t give him a template Tweet despite him attending the event. Going by how things are panning out on Twitter for the dashing batsman looks like fans will soon be more excited about his posts than real events in the cricketing universe.
