The Virender Sehwag and Sourav Ganguly fiasco looks like closing towards a happy finish as both cricketers posted a couple of tweets for each other. After Ganguly cleared air regarding the comments which he allegedly made on Sehwag, the latter too had a vintage Sehwag reply to everyone who were concerned with these sequence of events.

Few news channels also reported that Sehwag was paranoid with a fact that Ravi Shastri managed to regain his spot at the helm of things in Indian cricket, though he didn’t apply for the role during the Champions Trophy. The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) led by three of his former colleagues, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly, prefered to go with Ravi Shastri after contemplating on their choices for a good while.

Sehwag apparently had said that “lack of setting” within the BCCI and CAC cost him the coveted head coach post, to which Ganguly had replied harshly in a Bengali news channel. He was accused of calling Sehwag “Foolish” for the comments he made and this set Twitter on fire. However, the former Indian captain wasted no time to resolve the issue.

Ganguly earlier posted a tweet, which mentioned his quote on the swash-buckling opener from Delhi was completely false and the truth was he was very dear to him. He also mentioned that he would talk to Sehwag personally regarding this issue.

A vintage Sehwag reply

To put this entire folklore to bed, Sehwag came up with an utterly humorous reply, which wasn’t particularly directed to anyone but people do understand what happened there. He posted a tweet which read “Har kisi ko safai mat do , aap insaan ho , washing powder nahin (Dont clear yourself to everyone, you’re a human not a washing powder).”

Sehwag mentioned that Ganguly didn’t need to provide any justification to anyone, as he knows what’s true. This cryptic message he posted on Twitter has set Twitterati on fire as well and it seems like both these former teammates are on the same page regarding this issue.
