Virender Sehwag is known commodity for entertainment on Twitter. Post his retirement, Sehwag has ventured into commentary and various other business matters. But going through the tweets of Sehwag is a must these days as he entertains one and all with his cheeky comments and hilarious birthday wishes.

The legacy of Virat Kohli pertaining to Indian Cricket is not confined to only fitness and consistency. Virat Kohli is also responsible for bringing in a new trend in the Indian Cricket Team. The Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper was also responsible for the adoption of beard among the youth of the country and the players in his team.

Cricket has always been a religion in this country and players are popularly renowned as Gods. Looking at Kohli, the entire country started sporting a beard. Be it Ravindra Jadeja, or KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma or Ajinkya Rahane, at one point of time everybody had a beard.

However, Ravindra Jadeja was recently responsible for creating a new trend which now followed religiously amongst the youth and in the Indian team. In this season of IPL, Ravindra Jadeja looked sharp with his beard game on top, by reducing the quantity of his facial hair.

Similarly, Rohit Sharma followed the so-called #BreakTheBeard trend and sported a clean shaven look. He was ably supported by his fellow Mumbaikar Ajinkya Rahane who even posted a video on twitter displaying his transformation. Following the Mumbai duo, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, and Suresh Raina too shaved their beard off.

Virender Sehwag made an interesting compilation of the trend which is prevalent among the Indian internationals. The former Indian Cricketer also shared a catchy caption by saying, “Kuch players on-field Record todte hain, Kuch off-field Beard todte hain, Baazigar wahi hain, jo donon main jeet te hain #BreakTheBeard” which can be translated into- Some players break record on field and some break beards off field, a true winner is the one who strikes balance between the two.
