It’s a special day for Indian cricket fans as fast bowling legend Zaheer Khan turn a year older today. The left-arm fast bowler, who was truly a once in a generation find for India, has turned 38. Wishes obviously would have come pouring for the Zak since last night.
There was a celebration in the social media space as well with many of the cricketing personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Aakash Chopra, Rahul Dravid, Nilesh Kulkarni among others tweeting to him. But, for anyone who logs in to Twitter on a regular basis these days would have noticed that birthday celebrations on Twitter is thoroughly incomplete without a special message from the ‘pun’ king Virender Sehwag.
Sehwag has shown the impeccable quality of not missing any birthday or special occasion. This quality is very special. “Virender Sehwag tweeted to his former teammate: Happy Birthday Gyan Baba. Most popular love story- Ranjha & Heer, The cleverest bowler ever ImZaheer. Heer nahi asli Heera hai Zaheer.”

Sehwag came up with a very unusual comparison between Zaheer Khan and the Heer from the popular lady from the tragic Ranjha – Heer love story from Punjab.
Sehwag gave a perfect nickname to Zaheer, calling him as Gyan Baba. The fast bowler was obviously was a genius cricketing brain. All this was okay but it was the last line of the tweet where he stumped the readers was when he compared Heer with Zaheer. Sehwag termed Zak as the real gem.
