Virender Sehwag does it again, targets Shane Warne now

Legendary Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne became the latest target of Virender Sehwag on the micro-blogging platform Twitter today. Sehwag, who was primarily known for his batting exploits on the field during his career, is nowadays in the news for trolling his fellow mates and cricketers on the social media with his sarcasm and puns.

Sehwag is most renowned for his birthday wishes which have a heavy dosage of intended puns. On the occasion of Shane Warne’s birthday, Virender Sehwag was at his very best yet again. He wrote on his Twitter handle that it would only be nice if Shane Warne had ‘warned’ the batsmen before bowling his various variations on the pitch.

He wrote, “Hpy Bday @ShaneWarne .Wish he Warned d batsmen in advance whether it will b leg-spin,flipper,googly or sumthing else.”

Prior to this, Sehwag was on a tweeting spree when he kept wishing Rohit Sharma on his birthday with some of the most hilarious tweets. He kept wishing him all day and the fans were surely in for a treat with Sehwag’s sarcasm.

Recently, he made former Indian left-arm spinner Murali Karthik his target as well. Karthik shares his birth date on one of the darkest days of world history – September 11. No wonder, Sehwag found great humor in that too as he wished him in his own style.

Viru is undoubtedly one of the most popular players on the social media these days. His most epic encounters has been with English journalist Piers Morgan. He has been firing in a series of tweets targeting Morgan after the latter wrote provocative stuff about the Indian contingent at the Rio Olympics and mocked the Indian celebrations on the same.

This certainly did not go down well with Sehwag, who then came back strong with some epic replies. Interestingly, though, there was a time when Morgan used to be a big admirer of Sehwag.
