Following yet another convincing performance by team India against England, Virender Sehwag heaped praises on the young Indian team and congratulated them on their 4-0 series victory. Sehwag who was very recently crowned the official king of twitter was at his sublime best and trolled the English side following their dismal performance in the series. The former swashbuckling batsman has not left a single opportunity to troll England ever since his Twitter banter with British journalist piers Morgan.

Sehwag began by congratulating Jadeja on a sensational spell on the final day of the Test where he finished with career-best figures of 7-48. It was an extraordinary performance by the left arm spinner, especially on a pitch which had very assistance for both the spinners and the pacers. Taking to his twitter handle Sehwag wrote, “Congratulations India on a great victory. This 4-0 is sweet. Great display by Jaddu.”

The batsman who tormented quality bowlers during his heydays further trolled the English team and reminded the Indian players that they need to put up a similar sort of a performance back in England. “Yes Yes Yes ! Jaddu, parcel some ladoo to England. Always good to beat the inventors at their game. Next time we should do well in England,” Sehwag said.

Team India has been in scintillating form in the longest form of the game and under the able leadership of Virat Kohli they have gained from strength to strength. Apart from winning a Test series in West Indies 2-0 they have beaten New Zealand at home by a 3-0 margin and has now outclassed the Englishmen 4-0 in the 5 Test series. They also finished the year being the only team to remain undefeated in 2016.

The England openers negated the Indian bowlers on the opening session of the final day but from the 2nd session onward, Jadeja was quite brilliant and ripped apart the English top order. Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav both chipped in with a wicket each as India ran riot and took 6 English wickets in the final session of the day. The last time India won a test series 4-0 was back in 2013 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni when they defeated the mighty Aussies.
