Virender Sehwag's birthday wish to Brian Lara has left Twitterati scratching their head

Just like his playing days, Virender Sehwag has been quite an entertainer on the social media and is currently enjoying a celebrity status in the world of twitter. His birthday wishes to fellow cricketers have been hilarious, to say the least at times and have created a buzz among fans. He has also held discussions and given opinions on a certain game or how he feels the game will pan out.

Even this time around, Sehwag has made headlines after wishing legendary batsman Brian Lara on his birthday. Taking to his twitter handle Sehwag wrote, “Happy Birthday @BrianLara. BC Lara, kya tha Maara”, wishing the 48-year-old on his birthday. But the word BC is a popular Hindi expletive and people on twitter had a hard time figuring out what Sehwag actually wanted to say.

While some asked him the meaning, some even went to an extent by applauding him for insulting Lara. One fan understanding the actual incident said that it is Brian Charles Lara only and not many of them were thinking. Eventually, Sehwag put all the speculations to rest by clarifying that BC stands for Brian Charles Lara only.

He has been a popular figure in the social media circles and his recent tie-up with Sunny Leone for the masala commentary in UC News has been pretty entertaining. Sunny had thrown rapid fire questions at him and he had answered them pretty well. He said David Warner is his favourite cricketer and Mumbai Indians or Kolkata Knight Riders will be the likely eventual champions this season.

Sehwag also added that BCCI cannot afford him when asked by Sunny why doesn’t he become a coach of the Indian team. He said jokingly that only UC can afford him. He has been an entertainer on and off the field but at times his tweets are not totally clear to people which sometimes creates confusion.
