The South Group game in the Vitality T20 Blast 2019 will be played between Gloucestershire and Derbyshire at the County Ground in Bristol.
The match starts at 7:00 PM local time (11:30 PM IST) (6:00 PM GMT).
Gloucestershire and Derbyshire are those two teams which have picked up themselves really well in the final phases of the league stages. While the former has won their previous four Blast games, the latter also won three on the trot. Thus, both of them have got the winning momentum on their side and will look to compete hard as they look to get one step closer to the Finals day.
Particularly towards the end of the league stages, Gloucestershire played some great cricket. They won six out of their last eight games and even defeated some of the other stronger teams. On the other hand, it was smooth sailing for Derbyshire to this stage. To play the three-day game against Australia, all their games were completed early. Thus, even before anyone else, they established a firm grip at one of those four spots. Even though it was a great tournament so far for both these teams, the real test in now and they’d like to emerge triumphs.
The weather on Saturday is quite dry for most of the day. Moreover, the chances of rain are almost nil which is a great sign for the fans.
The dry weather might suck the moisture out of the pitch. Thus, it might bring the spinners into play. Batsmen will have to toil hard for runs and have got to be at their best.
