Kent began the T20 Blast 2019 with five successive wins but have suffered three defeats in their last four matches that pushed them down to No.3 in the points table. Sam Billings takes over the captaincy responsibilities from Daniel Bell-Drummond who has been consistent with the bat in the last couple of matches. The pace duo of Adam Milne and Hardus Viljoen has played a key role in Kent’s victories.
Kent will now host Glamorgan on Wednesday, the only team which is yet to open their winning count. After nine matches, the Colin Ingram-led side earned three points via washouts and a tie. With the inclusion of Shaun Marsh to the top-order, Glamorgan is now hopeful about much better performances. The batting line-up has been the major concern for Glamorgan in the tournament.
The South Group game in the Vitality T20 Blast 2019 will be played between Kent and Glamorgan at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury.
The match starts at 7:00 PM local time (11:30 PM IST) (6:00 PM GMT).
Only a miracle could save from Kent-Glamorgan game not getting reduced to 10 overs-a-side fixture. About 50% of rain chances are there until 8 PM local time and possibility of showers during the match time.
The St Lawrence Ground is perfect for the T20 format. One of the sides remain short but the wind direction could make it tough to clear. Under the lights, the ball could do a bit for the pacers.

Shaun Marsh might not have got the ideal starts in the T20 Blast but could find his feet going quickly.

A large number of batsmen have been picked expecting a high-scoring game. With rain predicted for this fixture, the match might get reduced to 10 overs. In such a case, utilizing the maximum limit in the batsmen’s category gets justified.
Glamorgan might have yet another disappointment if their batting doesn’t fire.
