Kent began the T20 Blast 2019 with five successive wins but have suffered three defeats in their last four matches that pushed them down to No.3 in the points table. Sam Billings takes over the captaincy responsibilities from Daniel Bell-Drummond who has been consistent with the bat in the last couple of matches. The pace duo of Adam Milne and Hardus Viljoen has played a key role in Kent’s victories.

Kent will now host Glamorgan on Wednesday, the only team which is yet to open their winning count. After nine matches, the Colin Ingram-led side earned three points via washouts and a tie. With the inclusion of Shaun Marsh to the top-order, Glamorgan is now hopeful about much better performances. The batting line-up has been the major concern for Glamorgan in the tournament.
