Surrey and Glamorgan, the struggling teams in the South Group, will lock horns on Thursday at the Kennington Oval in London. Surrey lost both the matches they played after conceding big totals. Surrey gave away 226 in only 15 overs to Essex and later fell short of the target by 53 runs. In their first home match, the Jade Dernbach-led team lost by 37 runs against Middlesex in the London Derby while chasing 210.

On the other hand, Glamorgan lost one game while another game ended with a result. In their first game against Somerset, the Colin Ingram-led team could only post an under-par 180 despite top order’s brilliance. Glamorgan got lucky against Gloucestershire where they were reduced to 96/8 before rain concluded the game. They are now boosted by the inclusion of Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman.

Surrey is expected to register their first win against Glamorgan who lacks depth in both batting and bowling.
