The Indian cricket team has not been able to use the Decision Review System well and have received the huge amount of criticism from all over for the same. Situations have not been different in the ongoing Test against the Aussies as India has failed to make the most of the Reviews.

It was last year during the Test series against England when the Indian cricket team had embraced the technology but has struggled to get their decisions right since then. In the seven Test matches before the ongoing Test where the Decision Review system was used, Virat Kohli’s men have seen only 17 decisions going their way out of 55 referrals they had taken.

In the first Test match in Pune against the Aussies, nothing went India’s way including the referrals they had taken. India took seven reviews in the match out of which, only one was successful. The scenes at the ongoing second Test match at Bengaluru are no different as India took three reviews all of which went wrong.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s tendency to use the Decision Review system every now and then has raised a few questions. The 28-year-old has been heavily trolled on social media and now the Australian fans mocked the RCB batsman on day three of the second Test match at Bengaluru.

At a point of time in the match when the camera focused on a section of the crowd where the Australian fans were sitting, one of them suddenly began showing the ‘T’ sign. The ‘T’ sign is a signal which is used by the players when they want to review the umpire’s decision or use the Decision review system. It was evident from the incident that the Australian fans have found out a new way to mock the Indian team for their poor use of the technology.
