Former Australian pacer Brett Lee shares a great bond with India. He seems to be in love with the culture and the traditions of the country. Time and again, he has come up with things that end up pleasing the Indian audiences. No wonder why the former Aussie quickie is loved by millions in the cricket-crazy country. Lee, too, has openly expressed his admiration for Indian cricket and Indian fans many times. The most recent of all events would definitely be loved by the fans not only in India but worldwide.

Brett Lee recorded a live video on social media platform Facebook recently on the occasion of Indian festival Holi. Holi is known as the festival of colors that is celebrated in the month of March every year. The vibrant colors signify the glory of good over the dark evil. People play with colors, and splash water on one another on the day. Lee, who is currently in India for the ongoing Test series, did not miss out on his opportunity to enjoy the lively festival.

Part of the commentary team for the India v Australia series, Lee has made sure that he is living every bit of Indian culture during his stay in the country. In the video, Lee wishes all the fans a very happy Holi. He can be seen colored with various colors and the fans coming around him to get pictures with him. Brett Lee obliges and clicks pictures with his fans, who are also seen drenched in the colors of Holi.

Lee’s connection with India is an old one. He has openly showed his awe for Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar over the years. He has been seen trying his skills in Hindi as well. Much recently, post his retirement, Lee also featured in an Indo-Australian movie titled ‘UnIndian’.

For now, watch Lee celebrate the festival of colors with his fans:
