As Dhoni ran towards the non-strikers end to complete the run, the bowler moved across the wicket and came really close to the blocks MSD chose to run on and the skipper might have well decided to show the youngster he did not like and approve of what he was up to, and he put his elbow out angled to strike him.

It happened after Indian opener Rohit Sharma had already had experienced a similar situation where he had to change his path and literally warned the bowler to not come in his way after completing the run. Though as a result both Dhoni and Rahman have been fined 75 and 50 percent of their match fees, it is an incident which clearly deceits from the spirit of the game and not so MS Dhoni class act.
