Watch: Fans delighted as Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni exchange warm hugs at the wedding reception

Yuvraj Singh’s grand wedding has been all over the new in the past week. His romance with model turned actress Hazel Keech turned a fresh chapter as both tied the knot in a 10-day long extravaganza. It was a starry affair right from the day one. The couple married in a Punjabi marriage In Chandigarh on November 30 and then flew to Goa for a Hindu marriage on December 2.

Both the events saw a good turnout of celebrities. The entire Indian team along with members of England team made their presence felt at the Chandigarh event. The star attraction at the Goa affair were the likes of Ashish Nehra, Parthiv Patel and the lovely pair of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma brought glitz to the ceremony. The atmosphere was of a typical Punjabi wedding. People were in high spirits and everyone danced their way through the night. Kohli and Anushka’s duet grabbed all the attention later on.

While all these happened at the marriage, Yuvraj and Hazel also had a wonderful reception planned in Delhi. The reception also had a celebrity guest list including the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra, Zaheer Khan, his girlfriend Sagarika Ghatge, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and his family.

However, heads turned when Indian limited overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni entered the event with his wife Sakshi Dhoni. Mr & Mrs Dhoni could attend the wedding but made sure that they made their presence felt at the event. Dhoni’s entry created a buzz at the venue.

Surrounded by guards, Mahi walked into the venue with all eyes on him. But, the warmest moment came when MS Dhoni went up to the stage to congratulate his former teammate on this achieving this personal milestone. The hug didn’t look like a formality. The happiness was palpable as both hugged each other like best friends who were meeting each other after a long time.
